Interview practice timer
Answer interview questions out loud against the clock, then review yourself honestly. Nothing is recorded — no camera, no microphone; only your timings and self-ratings are saved, so you can see your answers getting tighter.
Tell me about yourself.
Openers almost every interview starts with. Aim for 60–90 seconds.

How did it go?
How long should an interview answer be?
Most answers land best between one and two minutes. Under 30 seconds usually sounds thin; past two and a half minutes interviewers stop listening. The timer shows your target counting down and keeps counting into overtime, so you see exactly how far over you went.
A quick routine
- Pick a category and a target (1 min 30 is a good default).
- Press start and answer out loud as if the interviewer were in the room.
- Press “I'm done”, tick the checklist honestly and rate yourself.
- Repeat the rough ones until they are strong. Write the final versions in your Q&A vault — they appear here under “My Q&A vault”.

Does the timer record me?
No. It never asks for your camera or microphone. Only the question, the time you took, your checklist, your 1–3 rating and your note are saved — to your account, if you are signed in.
How are the stats worked out?
Only from your own saved answers: “finished within time” is the share of answers you ended before the target; the average rating is the mean of your own 1–3 ratings; the streak counts consecutive days with at least one timed answer. Your most recent 1,900 answers are kept.
